Well, it's 8am (which means it's 10am at home), and I've been up for an hour and a half. We have a fun filled day ahead of us! After breakfast, we are going on a tour of Guatemala City, then heading out to Lake Atitlan. I've heard that the lake is spectacular so we'll definitely have to post pictures later.

Yesterday was pretty laid back. When we arrived, the group went to lunch at a local restaurant. The food was great! We had tacos, tacitos, salsa, a red tamale, and the most delicious fried plantains, among other things. After lunch, we all went to our rooms to take a small nap (since most of us needed it!), then reconvened to shoot some footage for our marketing video. We had a late dinner at another local restaurant of tacos, quesadillas, meat, cheese and tortillas. Another amazing meal!
