The girl I worked with was Rosa America. She spoke a little English, which was like conversing with at a first an American first grader. We talked for about 30 min about various topics; her town, her life, and her family. She was so incredibly eager to show me her computer and English skills.
She built an additional section of her video at the very end just for me. The wording was poor but the message was very clear and brought tears to my eyes. The ending screen said "thank you jeff for you[r] collaboration and welcome for Guatemala and Santiago and [have a ] good journey".

Just wanted to add to Hoppe's post about my student, Bladmiro, who was a PowerPoint master explained everything he was doing with his presentation in Spanish and I got in some good practice by translating his descriptions into English for my fellow tour member, Dan.
